Starter Problems.

I just ordered my Cat so my car can pass emissions and now my stater is going bad. I turned the key last night and nothing. All the lights work and I just bought a new battery. Turned the key 3 times no click or anything. So I grabbed my hammer out the trunk and hit the startet a few times then let it sit for a min. I then turned the key and it started. My question is where is a good place to buy a starter for a good price? The cheapest I've seen so far is $180 from a online nissan parts store and $150 on ebay.

I'd check the connections to/from the starter before I threw a starter at it.

Go to autozone and get one of the premium lifetime warranty ones or spend a bit more and get one from Dave B via the org. Have them bench test your old unit while it's there to verify that it's toast.
