OBD II Connector Plug Location

I just bought a 2001 Maxima SE. It runs good. Today, the SES light came on and stayed solid. I can't locate the plug to connect my code OBD II reader to see what is causing the light to come on.

Need you help please. Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving to all.

look underneath your steering wheel. it is between the steering wheel and fuse panel.

when you connect the OBD II plug to the connector under the steering wheel turn your car to ON position DONT CRANK IT JUST TURN IT ON and follow the prompts it will show you the codes for the SES and the reason behind the codes,if you are not sure of what your doing go to Autozone or Advanceauto they will help you.
