cd changer installed... extra wires??

well i just finished installing an oem cd changer in my max (i have a bose setup). the wire harness for the cd changer had multiple plugs on the end that goes to the HU.

one of the plugs goes directly into the HU and the a plug from the stock HU wire harness piggy backs on that cd changer plug.

another wire (i believe to be the cd changer controls) plugs into the HU by itself.

now i still have two spare wires... one looks like a 4-pin female connector (square shaped) and the other is a small flat plug.

any idea about the spare wires??? the changer works perfectly w/ out plugging them into anything.

btw... thanks kloogy! ur the man

i was told by crutch feild that they go to steering wheel controlls but i am not sure. look at the back of your old radio and try to find the wiring diagram for a stock one on the net and that should help you out
