Helical slip on 2002/2003 6 speed
Hi All,
Is there any way I can tell if a 6-speed 02,03 maxima has the Helical limited slip. By the VIN number maybe or any other way. It was option that was offered at the time the car was being sold.

Yes, HLSD came with different pedals, but they cost $30 and a lot of people like the look so they swap them out.

Oh yes, I did forget about the pedals. The HLSD model maximas have the "drilled metal pedals" although the break and clutch are more of a drilled metal look but they are really black rubber inserts on brushed metal. But like 2k2kev said, those can be easily added and the best way to tell would be to look at the engine code.
