I just got a P1320 - Ignition Coils problem.

Im thinking on trying to get it free at Nissan with the "good will" program (in reference with the 8-pages-long thread on the topic)... if not, i'll buy the parts and do it myself. But this is not the discussion I want to have (8 pages is well enough, took me 2 hours to read 'em all).

My question is: "Will it damage my engine if I run with this problem for a while?"

btw, Im new to this forum but it rocks, I get all the info I need, its awesome.

my car is doing the same thing as yours

 

is the car shaking and jutterring? if so then you may cause damage. i had a faulty coil that would come and go. the SES light remained on but the car wasn't vibrating. i got it fixed a week later.
