Suspension Survey Poll - VOTE!

On the FAQ page I saw the following:

How low will my car be with these springs?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inches (front/back)
Eibach 1.3, 1.0 (stiff)
H&R 1.4, 1.3 (near stock)
Progress 1.7, 1.5 (near stock)
Intrax 1.75 all around
Sprint 2.0 all around (stiff)
B&G 1.6, 1.6
Ground Controls adjustable (very stiff)
MaxSpeed 1.7, 1.4 (near stock)
================================================== =======

While I have every reason to believe the stiffness of these springs, it always helps to hear from those who actually have these installed.

I'm mainly consider Teins, Maxspeed, and Progressive, with Tokico adjustable shocks. How do Teins S-Techs compare to the above brands in terms of stiffness?

I just want to hear why you picked your combination of springs/shocks - your opinion will be valuable! =)

Thanks.

If you where to look around, you would see that there are ALOT of suspension threads on this forum already that go into great details bout the ride comfort, looks, handling for each suspension setup avalible for the car. Tein S-Techs are too soft, they ride just a little stiffer than stock, and I would reather get D2s for 700 shipped on the group deal than spend 500 bux on POS springs and shocks. If you got the $$$ then JIC all the way.

I went for the H&R springs with Tokico Illumina shocks. I wanted more control, better handling, and a refined/civil ride, the last being of greater importance. The combo I choose works great, great handling without bone jarring ride, a VAST improvement over the stock SE suspension!! With the Illumina's, if I want a little more control or comfort, I can adjust them accordingly. If you want ultimate control, with no second thoughts about comfort, then go with JIC's, D2's, or Ground Control, crank them to ultra stiff settings, and enjoy the harsh, bumpy, bone breaking ride.

I got Tein S-Techs in my '00 SE. I primarily got them because of the drop. I wanted something to lower the car more than 2" because of the stock height of our cars. I also wanted something not too harsh. For those two reasons, I went with Tein's. It all depends what your priorities are and what you're trying to accomplish. I would say just spend a little extra cash now and get the D2's. In the group deal section......for $700 bux?!? You can't go wrong! Height and ride adjusatability! If not, yeah, like Blackbird said, go JIC if you got the cash.
