I had the PIAA extreme whites on my 2002 Max for a few days and saw the PIAA Super Plasmas and took a chance and bought them also. I'm glad I did because I think it's a better match to the stock HID. Now PIAA has the "Super Plasma GT-X" bulb rated at 5000k.

I don't have anything in there yet for some unknown reason. I am looking at Polarg M-6 or PIAA Xtreme White's 921.

I don't think anything matches the Polargs in the clearance light. As for the fogs, I am probably just going to go HID unless I can see nice pics of the new PIAA H3 light.

I didn't notice any difference between the silverstars and the "xtreme" white PIAAs. Silverstars are a lot cheaper too.

Wolfgraen, I like your fogs. All I know is that the stock ones don't match the color of the headlights AT ALL. I may have to look into the PIAA Super Plasmas you have.

i checked it and your right. everything is very detailed. i like it and the lights match very well. i also like the color match wolfgraen has.

the only thing is that i can't seem to find enough info or comparison pictures to come up with the brightest/whitest reverse light available.

also, my situation is a little different in so far as i have 5000K HID fogs and want to better match these to a whiter headlight bulb for my 2K Max for now as i want to see what projector options umnitza might come up with.

I payed around $53 on the PIAA Super Plasmas shipped from a company on Ebay. I don't know anything about the GT-X and maybe it costs more. I think the company was called "one way motor sports". They had 100% positive feedback and I received mine quickly. Definitely check out Ebay.

did you notice any blue hue to the PIAA super plasma fogs? i would think they would have some because they seem to match the HID very well.

most lights are that way - even HID's. they look different when they are first lit up but usually change to a different hue pretty quick.
i'm looking for a bulb that has a slight blue hue after initial startup. it looks as though this one might be it.
