Insurance

I am 26 years old and my girlfriend is 33 years old(clean record).

2k maxima with $498.60 every 6 months for full coverage and $250 deductibles on comprehensive and collision. Avearge is about $83 every month just for the Maxima. (i had an at-fault accident on my sportbike in April 2004, no other violations)

I have Geico and all my vehicles (including motorcycle) are registered in North Carolina. Trust me, rates in North Carolina are WAY cheaper than NYC. Not only that, but I use mass transportation in NYC and drive only in NC. Girlfriend takes care of vehicles in NC. Just had to clear that up before people think I am a fraudulent a--hole contributing to the rise in rates nationwide.

On the policy, my girlfriend and I have a 1990 Lumina with liability only, 1991 Cavalier with liability only, the Maxima(rates posted above) and a Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R full coverage with $250 deductible on comprehensive and collision.

My total yearly premium with all my vehicles and motorcycle is about $1038 a year, about $86 a month.

What I dont know is is it the second most stolen car becasue it is a damn fine car or easy to steal......any car thieves around know the answer?
I think it is due to the headlights... At least thats what i was told. Anyways I pay $360 (the policy is under my fathers name) for three cars (1993 Max SE, 2001 Volvo S40, 2003 Max SE) I get the Steer Clear Discount from State Farm. I am also listed under the 1993 Maxima only which reduces my rates significantly and since i live in the same house, I am obviously covered under all the other cars. Multiple cars on a policy are great =)

Full coverage on all of the cars except the 1993. Perfect dricing record... no wrecks etc..

Guys...I told you what the answer was as to why our rates jumped recently

And the reason why NC rates are so low is b/c state law dictates the rates "Tha Facility" All insurers charges the same rates in NC (more complicated than that but its essentially right)

Insurance rates

I'm 28 with one speeding ticket (80 mph in a 55). I only pay $350 every six months with state farm. Full coverage w/ roadside assistance and car rental and a $250 deductible. Not too bad compared to what everyone else is paying.

21 yrs old? $96.00 a month?!?!?! I am officially moving to NC.

About our rates being high... My adjuster said it was the theft of lights, i forgot to point out that my adjuster told me this. (it is an epidemic here in Miami... Not too sure about other places) All in all he was able to work with me and list me under the 1993 SE we have at the house.

I've got 2 speeding tickets worth 3 points each and an accident that was not my fault, I changed companies after the accident and I'm paying $205 a month on my own policy as I was driving up my parents' insurance and I was paying $250 a month. They have much higher liability than I need though so that's basically why.

I pay $768/year for full coverage with $500 deductible. I'm 35, married, and have 3 cars and a house on my policy, so I get pretty good rates on my car insurance. Of the three cars we own, my '98 Ford Explorer actually costs me more to insure than the '03 Maxima or the '03 Corvette. But I pay less than $200 per month to insure all three cars.

I pay about $700/year for an 03. Hey Alicious I like the idea of the rewired fog light. I know how to rewire it and I am actually thinking of doing it too so it will enable you to turn on your fog lights after tuning on the parking lights instead of having to turn on your headlights also like the current setup. Don't know why Nissan decided to wire it this way whey they know some people are going to rewire it. The mod is very simple.
