Tein H-Tech problems

I have these with Tokico Illumina struts and my passenger side bottoms out on the smallest Bumps/Dips in the road. I have both struts set at 1 because I'm not looking for a rough ride. It doesn't seem to happen too much on the drivers side.

When it bottoms out it almost seems like the Driveshaft is hitting the bottom lip of the strut, at least that what it looks like it's doing when I lift the car up.

Does anybody have any ideas? Does anyone with H-Techs have the same problems? Thanks

I haven't had that problem at all...and I'm on the same suspension.

And off the top of my head, I can't think of any reason why that would be happening...

Hey,

I have the exact same setup. I don't bottom out on much. Not sure what is happening. But, how do like the ride with the H-techs and Illuminas? Does it hit real hard when you go over bumps? I don't have much to compare it too. But I have mine set on 2 and with getting the H-Techs I thought the ride wouldn't be quite so rough. Let me know.

Yeah, if I hit any sort of bump it's really rough...car rides like it's on rails and I love it but it's not very forgiving for bad roads, thats for sure.

When encountering large bumps - it does hit HARD. I have my front set to 3 and the rears set to 2. Overall though, it's a pretty smooth suspension setup.

Definitely not as comfortable as stock, but much more comfortable and controlled than the Tein S-Tech and KYB GR-2 setup I once had.

I should have been more specific. When it hits hard, it hits with a "bang," and that's when it bottoms out. It rarely happens and only on pretty large bumps.
