my Radios been acting retarded the past couple days... i first turn on the car and want to change the station but none of the buttons work except volume and the cd eject button, i eject the cd and put it back in and the cd starts playing but i cant change it back to the radio. Eventually the power to it just shuts off as if i pressed the power ****, then few minutes later it goes back on. I tried to shut off the car and turn it back on hoping for some strange reason it will work but obviously it doesnt. Next day i take the car out again and it seems as if the radio is working fine the buttons and everything work, 10 min later the radio starts cutting in and out and all the buttons stop working.

Anyone else have this problem? is it a known thing? prob is im out of warranty since i have the car for 4 years already... what can be done

anyone have a 2000 Bose head unit that they took out and are willing to sell?

to be honest with you I am not sure what the HU is worth. Maybe someone else can chime in and give us a ballpark of what its worth.

 

Pull your negative battery lead for 30 minutes, it fixed my CD player and that 'master' reset may do the trick
