Otto Front Upper Strut Bar

Is procarparts.com the only place to purchase these Otto front strut bars?

SWA has it for about $5 cheaper. But their service and the use of DHL will leave one frustrated.

Yeah with FSTB, all you really need to decide on is which you think looks better.

Can you really feel a difference with one of these? Is there any type of imbalance if an rsb isn't added too?

It's mostly for looks. You won't really be able to tell the difference unless you "complete" the suspension package.

I felt a stiffness in the frame of the car. like the car was held together better. also on the steering wheel theres a diffrence too. the wheel got stiffer to turn and didn't pull to any side.

my opinion I like it. (FYI I had both the front and back)

Hey guys wats up...I have an 03 Maxima SE Automatic. I saw some dude on car domain with the same car as me and with a Stillen Front Upper Strut Bar. I called up Stillen and they told me it wouldnt fit on the automatic version only on the manual. Was just curious if this is true or not and if i could get the stillen one because i've seen it on some other dude's car.

stillen say things like this cause they haven't tried it yet. like the stb from the altima they said it didn't fit the 2k4 maxima and it does, now they put that it does on their site. they just wait for someone to do it and hope you call them and tell them so they can make the change accordingly on the site.

cheap bastards. I think it fits. theres no diffrence on where it mounts on the manual.

also why buy the stillen one others do the same with similar performance check the pics I got below thats the OTTO one from ebay for way less.

Wow, lol thanks for the quick reply guys. Iunno, but the dude said that it hits some manifold or something and plus even on the stillen site the description reads "This part does not fit Automatics". But whatever...I get what your sayin. Anyone here have the Stillen one up front on an 02 or 03?

I see, well thanks for the pictures. I'll buy the Stillen one, if it doesn't fit I can always return it. What other mods have ya done? Down the road I also might do JIC's, you reccomend any good sites for them?

Dude, JC, get the Otto, it is $100 cheaper and it looks the same. It makes no sense to buy the Stillen unless you have nothing better to spend $100 on.

I don't have skidpad numbers or anything, but steering does feel tighter with the FSTB installed. Actual cornering speed doesn't rise much unless you do some other suspension mods.
