Radiator plug positioning

I'm going to flush and fill my radiator..........before I start removing some of the plastic cladding underneath, which side is the radiator plug on?.....towards the driver's side or the passenger's side.............with Murphy's law, I know I'll pick wrong............Thanks..........jl

For 5th gen, you don't need to take anything off. The plastic plug is at the bottom of the radiator slightly toward the passenger side.

You need a phillips screw driver to loosen the plug.

you dont even need to remove the plastic piece, there is a hole in it to drain from. beware though coolant will splash onto the plastic cover, i usually get about 20-30mL on mine when draining the coolant. not much you can do though, just hose it off and purchase "enviromentally friendly" antifreeze.
