What MUFFLER dimensions do I choose???
I am going to get a 40/50 series or 40/50 series w/Delta Flow Flowmaster muffler with custom catback tubing. I would like some answers before I pick my setup.
1)What piping do I choose for a Catback system in the 200-250 hp range without losing all the torque, 2-1/2" or 3" or ????
2)Which is closer to the stock size?
Muffler#1: Dimensions are 16" in length x 9.75" in width x 4" in thickness. The inlet to outlet tip length is 22".
Muffler#2: Dimensions are 13" in length x 9.75" in width x 4" in thickness. The inlet to outlet tip length is 19".
3)If the outlet is 3", what size exhaust tips fit this, 3" or 3-1/4"?
4)Do I need a center or offset inlet?
5)I plan on TRYING to fit dual Borla square tips in that indentation where the muffler tips go. Do you think they will fit?
6)Do I need to order ANYTHING else like flanges and hangers?
Any other tips?

I'mnot expert at this stuff, but from inquiries I've made in the past, a 3" downpipe would lose too much back pressure unless ur planning to push a turbo and increase your breathing all the way through.
Good luck!
