any1 got a webstie and instructions on how to do the all red tails on the 2k3 or 2k2 tails like wen u spray paint the yellow 1/2 circle turn signal

 

yea how the heck do you spray the inside i tryed and got only the middle part red while it was yellow at the corner !!! im PISSED !

 

umm... how many coats didd u put on and in what motion. I heard if u go in a circlular motion for 5 secs, with like 3 coats or whatever it takes to match the red should work.

 

VERY short bursts. I would say at least 5 coats, short burst of about 3-4 seconds. Take your time so you don't get the runs. . .

 

I sprayed too long and the paint ran all the way down to the bottom of the tail light (just under the reverse light).

 

You have to do very short sprays in a circle. Point all over. Stop after 3-4 seconds. Do it in the sunlight so you can see what you are doing. You WILL NOT see any change until about the 4th spraying. It too me about 6-7 to get it just right.

Others have used Testors Candy Apple Red.

 

Or the Testors brand Transparent Candy Apple Red, thats what I used for both my 4th and 5.5g .

used Testors too--I cannot stress enough: DO NOT DO THIS IN A HURRY, let each coat dry so you don't get the runs like I did
