What the hell is this? I just noticed smoke around my headlights and fog lights. It's been raining in NY for a while and it's kind of chilly. The headlights were warm which is normal, I'm pretty sure. Please tell me that this is something to do with evaporation or whatever. It's bugging me out...

maybe its similiar to the situation when football players take their helmets off after playing for awhile and it looks like they are frying an egg? warm vs cold=lotsa of evaporation.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too. I hope that's what it is. It's really bugging me out.

Did you have your headlights on when you saw the smoke, because i know some people who had either high wattage bulbs or rewired the corners (95-99) when it was cold and it would rain there would be a little smoke since the headlamps were so warm and the rain was cold. Not sure if thats what you were looking for but it can be something.

Yeah the lights were on. And it came from the fogs and headlights. My fogs are stock and my headlights have PIAAs in them (6000k GTX), but the wattage isn't higher. It can't be the lights, because the smoke was also coming from the fogs which are stock.

Maybe it is just evaporation...

Bleh! I've been driving for 2 years now and this is the first time I've experienced this. There was quite a bit of evaporation, enough to make me think it was smoke.

Shut up, Mark.
