need help (suspension)

Ok I currently am running GC coilovers with stock struts. (Yes I know I shouldn't have run them with the stock struts. but I know a few people who have run GC's slammed and they didnt blow there struts even after numerous adjustments in the ride height). And im not even all the way down. Anyway they ride like crap. They are real bouncy(i bought these used from robvandam) If I hit a construction bump on the highway for example doing a decent speed my girlfriend and I both jump off the seats from the bounce. And when I go over speed bumps (slowly) the car bounces, the rear more than the front. I dont think all the struts are blown, maybe just the rear since the bounce is worse from there, but could it be the GC's spring rates are just too soft and would cause this bouncing? I dont know what the spring rates are for them. Im thinking about ditching the GC's and getting perhaps the Eibachs or H-techs. Any opinions on those? And Ive already seen the spring thread and housecors website, but im still not sure. I had eibachs on my altima and they were stiff like crazy. how are the h-techs for stiffness? And how well did the eibachs and h-techs settle on any of your cars?

thanks for any help,
Mike

Get rid of your GCs. They ride horrible. Eibachs and Teins are good choices but buy some aftermarket struts to go along.

Look at the springs and tell us the part # on the spring itself, it should be like a few numbers- it will indicate the spring rate, spring diameter and lenght. I got GCs and they don't ride too bad, but I got Koni yellows.

Aftermarket struts will help. I suggest Illuminas. One of the best upgrades I have done to the Maxi.
