How long will it take in the shop?
hey everyone,
I noticed two problems with my car, and i found TSBs for them. I was just wondering how long it takes them, on average, in the shop to fix it.
Rattle noise when started cold:

Hesitation on acceleration with M/T:

Ever since i got the car, which is about 2 3/4 months ago, its made a rattling noise for about a second or two whenever the car is started for the first time in the morning. Then the other day i noticed the hesitation. Its done this three times now, and it usually lasts for about 2-5 seconds. When i'm stopped at a stop light or stop sign and start to go again, the car barely moves for a few seconds, even though the rpms are at about 2000-3500.
If anybody has had either of these replaced, can you tell me how long your car was in the shop for? Thanks in advance.

it should take about 3 day, you have to leave the car over night to get cold start affect, the second day they test car for rattling noise in the morning and hesitation. Then they have order part new MAF sensor, sprockets if they don't have the parts in stock (99.9% of the time they don't have the parts in stock). It takes about 1/2 to one week to get the part. Then they you call you to bring the car in for a install.

thanks a lot for your help..i am going out of town for 2 weeks and i was just going to leave my car at the dealer and have my mom pick it up whenever it was done, so i needed to know when she would need to...although with my STUPID dealer im sure it will take much longer than this...it took me over 2 months to get the freaking drip strip on my drivers door replaced, because it was warped, and the dealer sucks so bad!! well im hoping it will only take 2-3 days...thanks a lot
