A lot of play in first and second gear

I have a 2003 6 speed max and there is a lot of play in first and second gears and some minor play in fifth I was wondering if any one else was experiencing this and what they did to fix it.

Do you mean when it's in gear it is moving? If yes then mine does that too. It ain't broke so I won't fix it. Maybe my STS will fix it.

There is supposed to be play in the shifter. If there wasn't play you could not shift correct?[/sarcasm]. Just kidding. It is normal. A lot of these types of threads lately huh? "My engine jerks when I let off the gas at 7000 RPM", "My engine moves when crusing in first gear". Seriously I would not worry about it.
