body kit advice

all right, so i e-mailed streetconcept.com about a sponsorship (i was just curious). they write back telling me they don't do sponsorships, but that they'll give me a "good deal" on a body kit. so i write back asking what the "good deal" is and tell them that i'm interested in the EVO5 kit. they write back and say $420 (reg price $599), but don't mention any reason why. so.....what's going on here? why such a good deal? am i getting suckered into something? has anyone done business with this site before? any reasons you guys can come up with for giving me $180 off? thanks for the help.

first off, thats without the exhaust probably. and it is fiberglass, and sits really low, so it will shatter or crack with ease.. Thats why i went with urathane but i dont think it is available in urathane anymore.

Good luck

yea, i don't think i'm going to take their offer. first of all, it is crappy fiberglass and i don't even want to deal with that. plus buying a body kit at the start of winter isn't the best idea.

Be careful man. I had a friend buy a fiberglass body kit for an eclipse and the thing didn't even fit, beside the fact that it was horrible quality. I would RUN away from any fiberglass body kit because they will crack if you look at them wrong. I would go with stillen myself. but you are obviously looking for something more aggressive, so I don't know what to recommend.
