Intake Problems
I just recently installed an Injen intake in my 2001 AE and everytime i hit about 2,000 RMPs i hear a high pitched noise. after about 3,000 RPMs the sound stops.
I thought it might not be sealed all the way but i checked everything and everything seems to be sealed so im out of ideas?
anyone had this happen? any ideas?

take off the filter and re-seat it. If that doesn't do it work your way up the intake one piece at a time.
Also, make sure the gasket from the MAF tube is still there... it looks like a 4" diam rubber band, and seats in a little groove on the plastic MAF tube.

What you're hearing is the air rushing past the butterfly valve on the throttle body. The sound has ALWAYS been there, but you just couldn't hear it because of the well-insulated/chambered PLASTIC stock air box. When you put the aluminum/metal aftermarket intakes on, it magnifies the "whistle" so that you can hear it.
don't worry, it's perfectly normal.
