my car has had this problem for 2 weeks now. At beginning, my car shakes back and forth when i stop the car at a stop light. Not always shake, but sometimes. Last time i posted this problem, ppl told me it 's probably the tranny. This morning, 50 degree in FL, when i start the car, it shakes again. But this time the tranny is parked at P not D. The engine revs up and down at P. when i back up, it was ok for 3 secs and car died. I started the car again and the engine revs up and down again... After engine completely warmed up, the problem's gone. I gave the gas and rev up the car up to 4500prm. No power lose the it revs fine. The tranny is automatic. Could someone helps me to figure out the problem, no code thrown yet. Thx

hmm... when u come to a stop light and the car shakes back and forth.. it might be very baddly warpped rotors..
but might not be that since the car shakes at park..
i think i might be your injectors.. so the car is choking..

Ya, I had a problem like this with my old Tahoe. It would shake horribly when I would start the car and come to a start - but my SES light would also be on, is yours? Basically, there was a clog in one of the injectors that was causing one of the 8 cylinders to misfire and produce that shaking. Took it to my old mechanic and he did a fuel system flush where they hook up your car to their own fuel pump and run some kind of strong cleaner through it -- worked like a charm and cleared the problem right up......cost me about 90 bucks.
