Help! Need a place where to buy coils for less than dealer charges.

I need all 6 coils, but a problem is that I am in Toronto, Canada. I am willing to drive to buffalo to pick up the coils, but where in Buffalo should I look? If I buy them from Dave then Fedex/UPS will charge their huge brokerage fees plus taxes. Any any ideas of where I can get these coils for cheap in Bullafo or Canada? also I can get coils from 2001 Maxima from a scrap yard, I know they fit and work. I don't see members here complaining about coils in 2001 cars. what do you guys think about getting them from scrap yard?

I've called many dealerships across the country and basically the average price is between 110-120 cdn.

According to my sources(nissan technican/service manager) they don't recommend to interchange 01 coils for 00 maxs even though they share the same engine models. You should check this out b4 you do this swap. I also considered it.

Scrap yard..well you probably will save some bucks but you're not installing improved coil anyways.

Would you know why nissan doesn't advise taking 2001 coils into 2000? since I can get all 6 coil from 2001 for about $120(scrap yard). Engines are the same, just emission system is a bit different (4 oxygen sensors instead of 3). Oh and the cheapest price from the dealers is $99 per coil + 15% TAX. I just can't afford $700 right now.

Check the Canada forum This topic has been discussed many times. Just get DAVEB to ship via USPS and there won't be brokerage fees.
