HELP... Service Engine Light On
It could be the psychology that my service engine light was on today for no reason and if felt like my car was shaking. Then it started flashing on me. What would cause the light to stay on and flash like this. I have never seen this before. Please help, thanks!

I just called the dealership to get it in monday morning. They said it would be $50 to pull the codes if it wasn't something covered under warranty (failed part) I personally have never even seen this light before and was wondering how it tells if something is wrong or not? What was everyone else's experience?

OK... I had 4 codes pulled off. They all said something about the ignition and the coil not firing. The guy at autozone said that one of my coils is not firing in one of my cylinders? He said that this would be a failed part and my warranty would cover it. He said it is burning oil and that if I drive it for a long distance I have a chance of ruining my converter? He said right now it is just burning up gas? How true is all of this?

the coils are typically covered 3yr/36k miles. if you have a good relationship with your dealer, you may get it under the powertrain up to 60k. if you have an extended warranty then use it. if not, i suggest purchasing all 6 coils and plugs if it is time and replacing yourself or having a shop do it. you can get all 6 coils for around 300 shipped. the main code you got was probably P1320, the others were most likely indicating which cylinder(s) that the misfiring is occuring in.
