need detailing advise

i had my car repaired and painted after a hit and run, but the body shop oversprayed some areas around the panel. i took it back to them and they just used some creamy compound to hand buff it off. i've since found some other spots they missed. anyone know what i can use to do this myself?

This will probably get moved to the detailing forum, but a clay bar will remove the overspray.

Just use some 3M rubbing compound or something similar to buff it out....
