02 external temperature sensor location

02 external temperature sensor location

Just changed 94 GXE to 02 SE. Any 1 knows the external temperature sensor location? Looks like my is disconnected or missing. The screen shows "---F " all the time.

taking a shot in the dark here...but I think it's the "boost sensor" on the intake scoop at the front of the engine bay??

at least on the 00-01, the "ambient temperature sensor" is located on the passenger side of the lower front air "scoop" (i.e. the lower grill next to the passenger side fog light)

I looked on my car and it seems to be located on the lower right (passenger) side of the A/C condenser. It is mounted sideways on a small bracket. Take a look at yours.
