I have gotten mine up over 130 but didnt want to stare at the odometer too long as i needed to watch the road. I have a 2000 SE 5spd and dont know if i would really go any faster than that in my max. It seemed to still be pulling so i am not sure if i have a reg limiter or not... anywayz not a good idea to do and i dont think it should be done (well too often at least)
I do also work for an audi dealership and have drove a few of those above my max's 130. Just yesterday i hit 155 in a S6 and many a times i have gone over 130 with S4's.
The one and only time i had a RS6 on a highway it was real slow driving so i couldnt really open it up, but those cars are NUTS!!!!! A thrill at every step of the gas

if you will notice...all people that post stupid posts like this have yet to reach adulthood..you will grow up and realize how stupid driving this fast is (if you live that long...or arent in jail for killing an innocent person because of your stupid actions)

That was pretty damn, scary (yet one hell of a rush).
I'd never do that again, unless i was trained and on a race track.

132 Miles Per Hour:
132 Miles x 5280 Feet/Mile = 696960 Feet Per Hour
1 Hour x 60 Min/Hour x 60 Seconds/Min = 3600 Seconds
So, 132 Miles/Hour = 696960 Feet/3600 Seconds = 193.4 Feet/Second
Human reaction time is between 750 and 1000 milliseconds (or 3/4 to 1 second), worse in night time conditions. So, if we say it's around 200 Feet/Second that's 2/3rds of a football field will have gone by BEFORE YOU CAN EVEN BEGIN TO REACT TO WHAT YOU SEE. This assumes you are completely sober (I trust you are!). This, of course, doesn't include the braking time you might need or take into account that unless practiced at driving at that speed you will almost certainly OVER REACT on your inputs and kill yourself, your passengers, and the unlucky folks who happen to be near you at this time.
When I was sixteen (20 years ago), I ran a '68 Chevelle into a bridge abuttment at 70 mph and nearly killed myself and one of my friends. He has a huge scar on his face to this day, and I had to have my nose surgically rebuilt. It breaks my heart to this day what I did to one of my best friends. We were LUCKY. Sorry for the drama - but don't think it won't happen to you.
Not a flame, just trying to put some perspective to it. No harm in trying to see what your car can do, just do it in a controlled environment. There is probably a drag strip or track somewhere near where you live that you can run your car on for a reasonable price and do so safely for yourself and others.
Enjoy your car and have fun with it, but do it safely and take care of yourself.
