Front End conversion to I35

Has anyone ever tried this mod. Converting the front end of their 5th Gen Maxima to a 02, or 03 I35 front end. I am assuming you might have to swap the fenders and of course the hood and front bumber too in order for the headlights to fit properly. As for drilling and if things are gonna fit, I am not sure. Any questions or comments would be appreciated

If you want an I35, buy one. It will be easier to trade in later on...

If you really want the I35, I would suggest buying one as well. The practicality issue is just not worth the money imo, but its your money, do as you wish.

Based on feedback so far I think I will scrap that idea.

FYI, In the middle east (and Europe for that matter), the Maxima QX is what we know in the US as the I30/35. All that guy did was change badges and grill.

Personally, I think the front end of a Max looks much nicer that that of I35, but if you get tempted to try this mod, I'll gladly be willing to take the maxima bumper off your hands

Other than the obvious ( Hood, front bumper, fenders, and lights ) I'm also pretty sure that radiator support would need to be replaced. It would be similar to doing a Type-R front end. I'm sure it can be done.....anything can be done.........but is it worth it? It'll look nuts, but you'd either need to be a body man by trade, or have a lot of $$$!
