Has anyone taken out the Bose Amp and Sub from the back of their car, and installed aftermarket parts in the exact same space. Let me know if you have, and what you used, because I don't want anyone to notice what I have done.

Thanks.

Post this in Audio too.. I haven't done it before, but I'm about to do it.

My sub and amp are on their way...

altho

Although to be clear I'm probably going to put the amp and sub in the trunk (and aim the sub up through the existing OEM sub hole)

Question, I want to install my 2 Pioneers in the trunk with a 600 watt amp. Will I have to take out the Bose sub or is there a way to have all three?

You can have all three. Just hook up the new amp to the battery, attach chassis ground, and a 12v turn on source (from the head unit or fuse box). Tap into the speaker wires (wires from the existing bose amp) and find the appropriate speaker outs (take the speaker out to existing bose woofer for mono or take speaker outs from rear door speakers for stereo)... attach to new amp speaker level input receptacles (if it doesn't have speaker level input terminals, you need to get a converter...$39 from crutchfield) wire up new speakers to new amp and that's it..

good luck
