Headlights are getting dimmer???

Not sure if this is just in my head, but the stock HID's in my Max seem to be a lot dimmer than when I first bought the car. Maybe I've just gotten used to them. They seem nice and bright when I first turn on the lights but after their warm-up period, they aren't that bright anymore. Could something be wrong here? Dying ballasts? New bulbs? Normal? Anyone else have this problem? Thanks for the input.

A loose ground will made your headlights dimmer, but I'm not sure if that's your problem.

all headlights get dimmer the more you use them..
unless i am mistaken...
also dont HID's have a finite limit to how many hours they are usefull i remember seeing a chart somewhere...
just find someone with a max and compare....

No it's not in your head. Mine are dimmer now then when I first got the Max. They have a slight yellow tint to them too. They will be on their last legs when they start to turn a reddish color.
