19's and 2" springs

im looking to put 19" axis halo's on my 2001 gxe.but i also want to put new coils and shocks in the near future. will 19's have to tucked in order to drop my maxima 2-3"? and whats the lowest i can drop it with out causing major camber problems. i plan on maxspeed g2 springs, and not sure on the shocks. i will probably have to contact axis on this one but ill ask anyway, i want my rims to be flush with my fender wells, what offset would put me where i want to be?thanx for any help.

Maxspeeds will NOT drop you 2-3"...they are about 1.6" or so (at most). If you drop more than about 2" you probably will want to get camber plates, IMO....

as to flush with fenders, you would need about a 38-40 offset in the front and about a 35 offset in the back (assuming you are getting 19x8).....

remember though....with 19's your tires will have a very low profile sidewall, so overall diameter is not the issue...

To get the drop your after you'll have to either get Tein stech's or coilovers. If you drop it more than 2 inches, you should get camber plates.

I wouldnt recommend KYB gr2's if your dropping it that low. They will definetly blow fast and aren't warrantied to go lower than 1.5 inches.

As for offset, you can easily go with a 35mm offset front and rear and not have to worry much about rubbing. At most you'll rub the rear fender a little bit but notthing major. Anything higher than 35mm's, the wheels won't sit flush with the fenders.

For shocks, look into getting Tokico Illumina's, Koni Yellows, or KYB agx's. These will be good for a drop around 2 inches.

nathan, when you say it might scrub in the back, you mean when i hit bumps, or all the time? this car is a everyday car, and i dont want to make it unpleasent, yet i want it to perform and look better. i think the maxspeed or KYB coils will do it for me. thanks for the help. scrubage of fender is no good.
p.s. thanks for the picture of the maxima on halos, i got a good mental picture of what theyll look like now.

thanks guys

If your going to use Maxspeeds you wont have to worry about rubbing in the back. If you drop it 2 inches or more expect to get some rubbing, but only onver big bumps or dips in the road. It really depends how your roads are in your city.
