removing clock to tap power

removing clock to tap power
I recently got a Garmin Nav, so it took up mine cig. ligher plug. Now I want to tap power at the clock to wire my detector...
1)how do i remove clock?
2)anybody wired detector thru there?

Ok, change of plans. I was looking at how to disable self dimming mirror and I killed two birds with one stone.
I unplugged the mirror in the back and wired radar to that harness!
