Hey, this may have been answered a billion times but I can't use the search feature. The question is what is different about 2001 AE compared to other maximas. I am probably getting an all black AE with the maxima and nissan on the back in gold. I haven't seen it yet, and really don't know anything about this model, so any help would be cool.

Now what different between the 2001AE and the 2002 SE are...
1. 3.0L in the 01, 3.5L in the 02 and up
2. HID's are available in the 02's
3. No plastic center piece in the rims on the 02's
4. Different gauges

Thats all the ones I can remember, I'm sure that everybody will fill in the blanks. I have an AE and love it.

 

The AE also has some extra goodies such as door sills, pedals, wheels, shift ****, etc.

And they have exhaust system from the I30's.

 

I have a black AE and love it.......wouldn't be a big fan of the gold emblems on the back though. I think it would look kind of tacky on the black paint, but that's just one man's personal opinion.
