i installed the pr cai over the weekend. and now i noticed a slight rattle right when i turn the car. i was wondering if anyone ever experienced that before or if u guys have any ideas wat it could be. and also when i start moving from rest there is a creaking noise but only for like the first second i start omving

 

I got it too. Brian said that it may be coming from the piping rubbing the rubber seal. Yeah, I know, it's pretty irritating. I just haven't found the time to fix it.

 

Is your filter very close to the plastic wheel well cover???
Mine is resting on it and i haven't had any probs with that!

 

a sponge will always do the trick, or if it's hitting the edge of the hole put some weatherstripping in there.

 

oh yhea and my fuse box isnt screwed onto my car haha but i don't think that's it because it doesn't budge at all. and thanx and i'll try those things this weekend. and i was just curious to how's urs sound. my friend has a cai in his rsx and when he turns his car on u can really hear the intake and the hissing but mine doesn't really do dat.

 

As a edge protector I used a big black circular rubber that came off the MAF. And bout the sound my friend has a 6th gen with injen CAI and it sounds super loud mine just sounds like a low growl not as loud as the injen.

 

maybe its just the company cuz my friend has a injen cai in his rsx and accord

 

Does it sound louder than your PR CAI?????

 

it seems liek it when the car is first turned on but i'm not 100% sure
