what should i get??

well ill be picking up a nice check from work in about a week. now i just wanted to know what you guys think i should get first. my car is basically a stock 2k2 auto. except for ae door sills that i just installed yesterday. couple of things i was considering on buying as follows in no particular order of importance
1: 19" rims and tires
2: cattman headers + new tires on stock rims
3: full coilover suspension (JIC maybe??)
4: cattman headers + rsb

all opinions and suggestions welcome.
and does anybody have experience with the JIC coilovers? haven't really heard much about them but i heard ppl are having problem with the D2s.

depends on what you want. you want show or go?

with new rims you are going to need a drop asap just a thought

i would go with suspension mods first and then performance and then show mods.

how do the Tein SS coilovers compare to the JICs? and what is the difference between the FLT-a1 and a2s?

is it true a coilover setup negates any of the positive effects of a rsb?? will it still be worth it to get rsb if i get full coilovers?

If I had the $$ I would get JIC's b/c people on here that have them rave about them. Never heard anything pos or neg on the Tein's. Not sure on the rsb question.

if i choose the JICs, it will be the flt-a1 setup. the flt-a2's are a little too much $$ for me.

How much is "a nice check?" It must be at least 2 g's I would think, judging by your options. Depending on what YOU'RE looking to accomplish, I usually always start my modding by working on the suspension. IMO, it doesn't look right if you have A/M rims with stock suspension. Look into the Teins and JIC's. Then maybe a sway bar and new tires on your OEM wheels. It'll look nicer with a new drop and lower profile tires, not to mention feel much more responsive.

well my check is not going to be that much. more in the range of 1500+- but i have other money on the side of that check that i had saved up already. but anyways, yes i totally agree with you. i was thinking rims+tires but i came to a conclusion that it just wouldn't look right w/out a drop first. i have heard good things about the JICs but i kinda wanted more info about the tein ss coilovers. i have also heard some horror stories of the JICs breaking on some people and the price to repair for them is out the roof!

I hope no one buys these ahead of BlackbirdVQ b/c I know he wants them. He is a good dude and very knowledgable so hopefully I didn't screw them out of these.
