ok guys im having a buddy put my cattman y pipe in... anyone else thats done this have to solder the O2 sensor to make it reach or not. I talked to Brian Cattman on the phone about possible SES problems with y pipe installs and he said the SES MIGHT come on if i have to extend the sensor wire and just splice the wire instead of soldering. But if its soldered correctly i shouldnt have any problems.. any 02-03 owners have to cut and solder or is it reaching just fine?

i didnt have a problem with the warpsped y-pipe on my 2000. i havent heard of anyone having to do that.

 

thanks for replying sooner... i thought i read awhile back about possibly having to extend the sensor and even Brian C. mentioned that if i have to make sure i solder it... just wanted to see if anyones had to do it...
