Temperature Gauge Busted?

Got the car used, and temperature gauge has never worked. Even when engine is warmed up, temperature gauge is non responsive and is in original position, needle has never moved. Anyone knows how I can fix this?? Thanks, Happy New Year

Is it easy to install those guage rings ? Is it just line em up and push them in? or they glue onto the cluster? i'm jus scared to do it cuz i don't want it to falll on the needle while i'm drivin and hit a bump and the needle breaks.

HAHAH i guess teh topic changed..

SANTA: take apart the cluster. maybe the sping in the needle broke .. maybe its stuck ...hard to tell, one way to find out

SAMMZWAY: its easy. just pull the plastic cover off the guage cluster. press the rings in . they come with adheseve on the rings.. once they are firmly in ...they will stay in.
