PIAA H3 Xtreme White or Super Plasma?

i replaced my fog light bulbs with PIAA H3 Xtreme Whites on my 2003. these are a definite improvement over stock, but they still look a little yellowish and dont quite match the HID's imo. i have seen both the Xtreme Whites and Super Plasmas recommended on several websites. so my question is to those of you who have seen both the Xtreme Whites and the Super Plasmas in person - which matches the HID's better???

super plasmas, definitely...ive seen people with xtreme whites and they dont match my super plasmas NEAR as well...theyre probably the closest youre going to get unless you put HIDs in the fogs and put those same color d2s bulbs in your headlights

If you want to crack your fog lights, do the super plasmas...they get too hot and crack the housing....I went with the xtreme whites and then changed to HIDs.

Has this happened a lot to everyone? I did make a comparison and the PIAA xtreme white Plus blubs are 4000K, and the super plasma GT-X are at 5000K. I'm assuming those are temperatures (Kelvin)...so is 5000K way too much?

I had the Xtreme Whites and still cracked my pass side fog light. I wasn't happy with the color either. I will be installing the Super Plasma's next week some time. Hopefully they will match better.

My fogs never cracked from the Xtreme Whites and I've had them for over a year...now HIDs.

are we going to go through this in another post now?

IMO the super plasmas are a great match to the stock headlights. but they do burn out a lot for most people and are a pain to replace. but i dont think they are the reason your housing cracks. one of my fog lights cracked before i took the stock bulbs out.

i've seen a pic of polak's HIDs and i must say they are pretty sweet. but i'd rather just stick with my super plasma bulbs and not f around with it. and they have a year warranty on them (i should be getting a replacement for mine soon) so as long as you have two pairs you shouldn't have to purchase anymore.

I just put the Super Plasmas on my Max, and they are an almost identicle match to the factory HIDs...really looks much, much better than stock. I have not seen Xtreme Whites.
