where did you have it installed? doesn't it void the warranty if you do it anywhere but the dealership?

I have an auto start on my Max, I think its made by some company named galaxie, I went witht the two way, I paid like $500 at a local shop. Comes in real handy on those days when it -30, -40 degrees out.

Has anyone installed the "Autocommand' remote start? Can get the 2000 Max to crank but not start. Installed the Immoblizer Bypass Module to get around the "chip" key but still no luck???

Depending on what the dealer looks at and how hard they look the auto start can void the warranty. I had a 100K mile warranty on my max and took it in for a check engine light. They did not do the ECU reprogram under warranty due to my auto start.

Kritscar, you should check to see if you tapped the correct wire for the bypass module. It may either be loose, or not connected to the tach. You have to connect it to the tach to get it to turn over.
