I've thrown a code. What is it?
Hello guys, I have finally thrown a code. I have known something has been wrong with this car and finally something comes up. Ok I ran it at Advanced and the code is...P1320: Manufacture control. Ignition System or misfire. Now I have an idea of what it is but those of you who know for sure please let me know. Also is there somewhere on this site where there is a list of the codes?

Did you replace all six coils previously? If so then I'd be pretty pissed. How many miles do you have since the coils were replaced? Maybe there is some kind of waurantee? The replacement coils are supposed to be upgraded ones that don't have the same problem as the originals. Good luck.

EGI harness problem, if coils have been replaced.
Check all grounds, especially the one by the oil cap on your motor, make sure BOTH
bolts are tight.
I had a customer who had installed a grounding kit on their car, and had P1320 code come up, with a heavy misfire which came out to be P0300. The bulletin called for an EGI harness, and when we performed wiggle test, readings went crazy. I noticed how the grounding kit was done, and tightened the ground for EGI harness, and behold problem cured.
Rare one is ignition condensor, very rare.

This is going on my 3rd time. The first time I f*** ed up and put some aftermarket sparkplugs and the car went crazy and blew them. Nissan replaced them under the warranty. About a week later it did it again and all of them again were replaced. I now have about 121,000 miles on my se. Trust me I am pissed. I finally in 3 years had this car running right. I have called Nissan and my guy knows they have been done twice before and he is going to give me the main customer service number and forward all of my records for me. He is also going to do a diagnostic no charge to see if they can find anything else. These coils will be replaced once again but not on my dime. I appreciate all of your help. I'll let you know how it goes.
