weird cracking noise PRCAI

I just installed the place racing on my 2k max and when i accelerate in the very begining of 1st, i hear this sound like plastic breaking or poping. i have no idea what it is, cant find it (not even sure it is the intake but its coming from the driverside of the car). intake is solid and dosent move. hope nothing is breaking, i feel bad going fast now because i feel as if im hurting my car. im scrrrrd help!

It sounds like the creaking sound I get from mine also. I think Brian at Cattman said that it may be the piping rubbing against the rubber grommet. He suggested that I try and use a spray lubricant, but I haven't tried it yet. Mine also makes a noise when I put it in reverse also.

Mine has been doing the same for over a year now. On mine, the shifts cause the piping to push the battery tray up and down, causing a creaking like noise. Easiest way to check is to have a friend go back and forth from drive to neutral to cause the movement of the engine and check what's going on.

i have the same problem but i think my hole is to big cuz we had to make it bigger cuz it wouldn't fit with the rubber thing on it. i hate driving in traffic especially since i don't have time to fix it.
