Out side of my friends house new years , morning time (10:00)when his irresponsible neibor across the street from him decided to get in his 87 POS Ford Escort and floors it while in reverse and slams into my drivers side door. Then proceeds to take off because he thought nobody was watching, i run out of my friends driveway screaming then the *** stops a few feet away from me. Dude got out of his car,we exchanged words, he was partially hung over and late to work , (Pizza hut). He wanted to exchange insurance numbers and thats it, i told him he better not move cause i am calling the cops. He was pissed and slammed his fist on the roof of his car. He was saying something under his breath , but i could care less as long as that a-hole didn't try to run.My friend came out and made sure dip **** didn't try to run. Finally the FHP comes and the guy was scared ****less. I told him what the hell are you scared of , as long as you have insurrance , you have nothing to worry about. After evrything the guy got a citation for wreckless driving, thank god my friend was a witness to the crash. Needless to say the guy was pissed , but he got what he deserved and all i got was a smahed in door!

The crazy thing was i was so far away from his driveway, but the way he backed out was freaking insane! He backed out at an angle and even went across his neibors yard! He didn't back out traditionally! Thank god there wasn't any kids riding there bike or playing in the street,he would have run them down.

Anyway his *** insurance called me today to come look at it, looking at the damage it may coss about 800-1000 bucks to replace... i am actually shocked that my window didn't shatter from the hard impact or my mirror didn't come off. Even my interior panel is in perfect tact, and the all the window controls work. Just my window goes down half way.

What a f-in way to start the new years......

dang man...that's gotta sux..and seriously thank god there were no kids around that he could've hit with his car...atleast you got that guy and got his insurance to pay for all damages..

same thing almost happend to me, my rear door got smushes when my landlords brother decided to pull ou to fthe drive way drunk and on the cell phone. Great, my door had to get reskinned. The guy came clean and took care of it, but was getting so shady about insurance and stuff, and kept suggesting in his most italian voice : "yo let me just take yer car to ozone park and fix it up, hey no problem" bla blah. I said give me cash (being nice), or your insurance. WE had the cops come did a report, and at that point it was in his court, and he did it through insurance. By the way, my rear door child look hasnt been unlockable since. Nice eh? The car was never even in an accident with me in the freaking thing b4, shmucko just wasnt paying attention.

I can definatly relate to you man, i hope u get a good bodyshop where they wont overspray and get paint on yer rims and **** : /
