Strange problem, car dies in neutral, no codes...help!

car was driving wierd this morning, as i was comming to a light i put it in nuetral and it stalled. strated right up and kept goin, then same thing, happened about 4 or 5 times total. it just drops the rpms as im cruising and dies! if it doesnt die it ideles strange, but smooth. if i shift to neutral it either dies or drops to 400-500 then back to 600. or just drops to about 800.

anyone have this ahappen? what could this be?

i tought maf but it ides very smooth and steady, except when i just shift to neutral.

what the hell is causing this? no ses light, no codes...HELP! THNAX!!!

try cleaning out your throttle body with intake/throttle body cleaner at an auto parts store. You must take off your plastic intake to get to it.....throttble body is in the rear of the engine where the cables are for the accelerator. Spray stuff in there (ONLY TB/INTAKE CLEANER!!) and wipe out w/toothbrush than a white cloth. Worked for me!

Its the MAF sensor, replace it and the problem will go away. I had the same issue when I had my 01 SE
