Battery and brake light on. Help
I belive it is my battey... Just kinda strange the brake light would come on too .. after the car gets warm (like 5 to 7 min) the light go's out.
If it is the battery what are a few good choices for a new battery???
I'm by Advance Auto Parts and Walmart ...
Thanks for your help

On my older Nissan's, when both lights came on it meant that the alternator was not charging. I am not sure it it is the same on the newer ones. If just the battery light was on i would say it might just be your battery, but with bothe, that usually means alternator. Sorry.

Take it to Advance Auto and have them test your battery and alternator (it's free). That should clear things up a little.
(though, last time I had my alternator tested, their machine said it was only putting out 25A... I am pretty sure that was bullsh*t)

well in the end if you do need a new battery, i would suggest an optima redtop or yellowtop from Remy battery. i just got a yellowtop D35 and it was delivered within 3 days. great battery too if you've got extra accessories.
