Clicking Sound In Steering Column

Clicking Sound In Steering Column
When straightening out the steering wheel at low speeds like driving in/out of parking spots, hear a few clicking sounds coming from inside the steering column (inside the cabin, not under the hood).
Dealer did nothing and replied on service ticket "normal operation of spiral cable in steering column." Car is almost 3yrs old and didn't do it until just a few months ago so I disagree that it's "normal."
Anybody else run into this? Anything to do to fix? Thanks

Same here I think...it's the airbag cover "popping".
Mine feels like a clunk/pop when turning at slow speeds, but not every time. If I stick my finger inbetween the steering wheel arm and the airbag cover, it has play that makes a popping feel. I could be wrong though.

If likely to be just an annoyance, I don't mind looking into it.
How do I take things apart to look (remove covers, etc.) ? Looked thru the sticky list at top of the forum but didn't see anything that applied.
