Fire Extinguisher "mod"

I forget who it was, but someone installed a fire extinguisher and first aid kit in their trunk and I'm thinking about doing it too. Feel free to call it , but I like being prepared for anything. Still have the pictures and how-to info?

i guess as long as you don't put the fire extinguisher on your a-pillar, it's ok.....i really don't see the need for it though.

I thought so, who else but the king of home depot mods.
Looks like just a couple of bolts up throught the trunk lid liner for the first aid kit and probably just bolting the extinguisher strap to the metal under the package shelf.
Thanks for the pics!

And I don't really expect it to put out fires in my car. One: because I don't expect to have any and Two: because if there is enough of a fire to get me to run to the trunk...I'm probably going to keep running.

Its more dangerous then helpfull, consider this, you get hit in the rear at high speeds now you have to consider a exploding canister in your trunk blowing up your gas tank.

This is NOT A MOD. If you want to put it in your car, it's for safety purposes. Putting a freakin flashlight in your car is NOT A MOD either.....what is wrong with you people. He , guess what, " I just did the Air Freshner MOD "....

In America, we call it putting a fire extinguisher in your car, not modding your car.

I did the sunglasses in the top compartment mod. It really matches the interior, and I am the first to do it. Wait......this is already getting played out enough.

you can find the extinguisher at your local auto parts store and if you can find a way to mount it you can find a double pack at costco for 17.99 but i dont think they come with any mounts for the first aid kit i would try a marine store. you never know would could happen on a boat so tey pack they full of great stuff.

definitly dont wanna do that mod for a long time, my driveway is the babys seat.

first aid is always good to have though, wouldnt put a fire extinguisher in my car, it would never be used for putting out a fire, just spraying friends and family

If you get hit hard enough to explode one of those fire extinguishers, your gas tank is already going to be exploded
