Greetings. This is my first post to this forum. I just bought a loaded 2000 SE 5sp. and I want to confirm if there is an alarm on this car. If there is, it does not seem to work because if I pull on the door handle after the car has been locked for longer than 30 sec., nothing happens.

 

Really the only way the alarm goes off is if the doors are opened somehow without the alarm being disarmed. Say for instance someone breaks out your window (the alarm still wont go off) but if they reach in, and open the door. Then the alarm will go off...
