AE kit is attainable

I found the side skirts and rear valance at a junk yard, then added the stillen front lip. It looks pretty good and I only paid $600 for everything, including shipping. The only way to truly get an AE kit is to have an AE vin #.

I hate it when members divulge wrong information again. You can get an AE bodykit only from dealers, eBay, Org members, or junkyards. I remember Jerry Rome Nissan was selling them on the Org for awhle.

Otherwise, you're stuck with third party like Stillen.

These AE kits are bolt on's right? I mean other then painting and priming, you just bolt it onto the existing body parts on the car?

Just to clarify.. what does the AE body kit look like? If i have an 2001 AE, do i already have it? or is this an aftermarket kit only for the 2001 AE? Thanks

If you have an AE, you already have it.

HAH, interesting. I havn't noticed a difference between the AE and non-AE. I guess i havnt really been looking. What body kit mods can i do for the AE? Should i just get a lip for it?

The Nissan-made AE Aero body kit was made for 2000 & 2001 Maximas. They come pre-painted and bolt/stick on. Cost is about $1000 to $1200 for the entire kit which includes the front lip, side skirts, and several pieces for the rear skirt. The kit can be ordered from almost any Nissan dealer.

The front lip of this kit will NOT fit '02 and '03 Maximas.

Also, as was mentioned before...Anniversary Editions sold in Canada did not come with a body kit.

Hope that clears things up a bit.

Peace.

Get a quote from your dealer. Chances are Dave's prices will be better.
