Finally lowered...*PICS*

I got H&R Sport Springs and Tokico Illuminas recently and they were installed last night...here's a few pics...I need to give the setup time to settle...Keep in mind it looks lower in person for some reason, but I doubt it will drop much more in the upcoming weeks. The handling is great and the ride is much nicer than I expected...For those wondering I went with H&R because Tokico only covers a drop up to 1.5" and I didn't want to have any hassle if for some reason something happened to them...the roads around here are another factor, so this is basically the lowest I could go under warrantee. Hope you like it.

I might have as well, but like I said...Tokico won't cover anywhere below what I got and i don't wanna mess with that...and the crappy roads here don't help...and H&R supposedly give best ride and handling whereas it's been proven that some teins and others that give low drops aren't exactly comfy or performance oriented which is what i was looking for

If you don't mind, can you take some pictures during the day so we all can see it a little better? Overall, very nice drop. I like the way it looks, IMO. I need to lower mine, but I'm working on that. How much was the whole setup?

Car looks great Kruppa. The drop likely looks lower in person because the flash tends to accentuate the wheel well. You'll get more representative shots in the daylight. Enjoy the new ride.

I think it's rapper, Lil' Jon's, words that he uses. Correct me if I'm wrong. I could have sworn he says "skeet skeet skeet", but what do I know!

For all of those wondering about MaximaPolaks post...It's because my last name has ski in it and we both like that lil jon song, so he finds it humorous to say that.

Drop looks great, and it will look even better when they settle. I'm still considering what to do for my susp mods, but I like the look of that, I'll keep it in mind. Also, you're local so you'll have to let me know how that drop fares around town and maybe MAYBE let me know who took care of the install

I already drove on a lot of the roads I thought would give me trouble and none so far...it truly handles and rides way beyond anything i expected...my front strut bar and rear sway bar combine to make my combo insanely solid like my car is on rails, yet i also think its more comfortable and softer on my 2F/2R setting...bumps and large transitions in road feel softer with this setup the way i have it, which is just what i wanted, and it's always good to know you can make it much stiffer on 3, 4, or 5 at the track etc.

White people don't know what it means yet, but when they do they're gonna be like, My god, what have we done?" And yes Dave, I am white, and yes, I do know what it means.

I've noticed the setup settling down a bit ...i've driven about 150 miles since I got it done and I was wondering if I'm supposed to say anything in particular to the people concerning an alignment...I have been told to just get a regular four wheel alignment, but If i tell them that i lowered my car should i really have to tell them to make adjustments for the camber and toe-in? I was told to wait about 300 miles, however, i'm worried the tires are going to wear the wrong way really fast...any opinions from those who have done this already or possibly good places to get it done? thanks guys.

Get the car aligned ASAP! You're not supposed to be driving that much without one. 150 miles...what is wrong with you?

three shops around the area, H&R, and Tokico companies all told me to drive on it for a while before I get it aligned because if you do it right away and it settles more, then it was basically useless.

I've never heard of that. Everybody I know with a drop did their alignment the same day. The settle isn't anymore than about .1-2'' (if not considerably less) which won't make any difference at all.

Go get your car aligned.

I second that notion! Am willing to drive a bit for a quality install. But the drop does look sweet. Personally, I drive a lot for work and don't like em slammed but an inch or so is perfect IMO. The roads up here in NH aren't any better.
