Question about Bose HU, No, not about speakers cutting out...

'02 Gle

Does anyone know if our p.o.s. bose hu can play mp3-cds? If I burn a couple hundred mp3s on to a cd as data(not an audio cd) can the system play those type of cds?

An example, since I only by p.o.s audio equipment, my pos dvd/suround sound system at home can play audio cds and mp3 cds.
