Does this require goign to the dealer to program it? Can we program this by ourself?

You gotta have it programmed by a dealer, some locksmiths also have the equipment to do this. Locksmith would be cheaper.

I have had it done. You can save at least 50% by going to a locksmith.

I think you need a OBDII Consult thingy to program the key.
